Role & Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical structure design of advanced automotive electronic products — from concept to mass production — working closely with cross-functional teams in design, testing, and manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the mechanical structure design of power electronic products for electric vehicles.
Translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical design concepts and technical solutions.
Design individual components such as die-cast, injection-molded, stamped, and sealed parts, and create corresponding 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, and support component certification during the OTS (Off-Tool Sample) phase.
Participate in product verification and validation, identifying and resolving technical issues.
Provide engineering support throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring design integrity and production feasibility.
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in automotive electronic product design and development, with solid understanding of automotive component development processes.
Strong technical knowledge of design and manufacturing technologies such as die casting, injection molding, stamping, connectors, sealing, and fastening.
Proficient in PRO/E (Creo) or similar 3D CAD tools.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Mandarin is preferred and fluent in English.
