Role & Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical structure design of advanced automotive electronic products — from concept to mass production — working closely with cross-functional teams in design, testing, and manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the mechanical structure design of power electronic products for electric vehicles.

  • Translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical design concepts and technical solutions.

  • Design individual components such as die-cast, injection-molded, stamped, and sealed parts, and create corresponding 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, and support component certification during the OTS (Off-Tool Sample) phase.

  • Participate in product verification and validation, identifying and resolving technical issues.

  • Provide engineering support throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring design integrity and production feasibility.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in automotive electronic product design and development, with solid understanding of automotive component development processes.

  • Strong technical knowledge of design and manufacturing technologies such as die casting, injection molding, stamping, connectors, sealing, and fastening.

  • Proficient in PRO/E (Creo) or similar 3D CAD tools.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Mandarin is preferred and fluent in English.
