Research Engineer — Power Electronics

Role & Responsibilities

As a Research Engineer - Power Electronics, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of electric mobility. You'll be responsible for the entire product development lifecycle, working on exciting projects for TIER 1 and OEM clients across Europe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop cutting-edge inverter technology for leading European automotive companies.

  • Define the technical roadmap for our next-generation inverter platform.

  • Craft ingenious software features and control algorithms to optimize performance.

  • Design a best-in-class hardware platform (control systems, gate drives, and power modules).

  • Take ownership during the entire development process and partner closely with clients.

  • Implement automotive-standards like AUTOSAR, ASPICE, and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).

  • Champion creative ideas and translate them into tangible research projects that push boundaries.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Work experience in power electronics and electric motor control is a plus.

  • Proven record in model-based programming, C/C++, UDS, INCA, Matlab/Simulink.

  • Enthusiastic, strong sense of teamwork, excellent communication skills.

  • Fluency in English and German.
