1st joint SiC eAxle with SAIC Volkswagen

We are pleased to announce a collaboration between LEADRIVE and SAIC Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. on the new innovative 3-in-1 E-axle system based upon the latest silicon carbide technology to accelerate the automotive industry’s transformation towards electrification. This product has been validated and recently presented on the Volkswagen “IVET Technical Innovation Conference”.

The validation result run by Volkswagen showed that this 3-in-1 E-Axle system equipped with LEADRIVE silicon carbide motor control unit can increase the vehicle range of the Volkswagen ID.4X Model by at least 4.5%.

It was the first time for LEADRIVE Technology that the efficiency advantage of silicon carbide technology for electric vehicles has been confirmed by one of the international top automotive OEMs. Congratulations LEADRIVE and keep shining 2022!
